Introducing your Staff Super Scheme new member-elected Trustee Directors.

Voting for two member-elected Trustee Directors closed on Monday 23 June 2025 and we received over 650 votes over the three weeks that voting was open. Thank you to every member who participated in the election process.

Congratulations to the successful candidates Damian Sharkey and Matthew Vidal who were the two highest polling candidates and have been declared elected!

We would like to give a special thanks to all the other candidates who stood for election.

Background:

The Scheme is managed by a trustee company (Trustee), in accordance with the Scheme’s Trust Deed. The Trust Deed requires the Trustee to have seven directors (Trustee Directors). Two Trustee Directors are chosen by you, the members, and the remaining five are appointed by Westpac (including one who is an independent trustee licenced by the Financial Markets Authority).
